The New House

We moved into our new house on October 15th after some slight drama that involved us owning two houses for about 5 days rather than being homeless for about an hour as it had been planned. But, all worked out OK. We are LOVING the house. There is still work to be done to make it our own but we have all the major stuff in place for the time being. It's hard to decide how to triage projects. One of the first things we need to do is buy an insert for the fireplace so there are doors on the fireplace since Matti has decided that the firebox is a great place to explore (when there is no fire). Mom came up last weekend while Steve was hunting and we painted Matti's room and got that put together with the new bedding, etc. It looks great and I can post pictures from that project once I figure out how to get pictures off my phone and onto the computer. Kitty Cielo has been fairly perturbed by this entire process. This is now her 6th home that she has to figure out where the hiding spots are so that she can continue on with anti-socialness. Matti is loving the fact that she gets increased sightings of the kitty right now. Stop by and visit us sometime and make sure to ring the doorbell - It's AWESOME!
