The Winter Carnival Parade

Yesterday was a perfect day for a parade. Matti actually lasted for almost an hour. This is about 59 minutes longer than the other parades we have been at where we have had to make quick exits after gun salutes. Ella just slept the whole time.

Daddy and Matti pants. She could see better from his shoulders but the people walking and handing things out didn't see her very often because she was too high up

Had to take a picture of the gnomes in honor of our resident gnome, Ella

Matti getting vulcanized by an official vulcan. She spent a lot of time looking in
the mirror at the "V" on her nose after we got home.

Ella's newborn pictures

These pictures were taken when Ella was 12 days old. We are a little delayed in posting them. We had her two month check-up two weeks ago. Ella is growing fast - she is now 23 1/4 inches and 12lbs 8 oz. I can't believe how fast the time has gone and that I am already headed back to work in a little over a week.

New Years Day

Liz and Andrea got to meet Ella!

New Years Eve continued

I do it myself and if you try to help I will get really mad and kick off my boots and throw off my mittens and then cry because my socks are wet and my hands are cold, but really I can do it myself.

New Years Eve

We had pancakes on our new griddle. Went to Happy New Year at Como to see the balloon drop at noon. Early evening we headed to Fort Snelling for the luminary walk. We brought the sled for Matti to ride on or the backpack for her to ride in, but she would not have any of it. We were told "I do it self!" So, she pulled the sled a good portion of the walk. Ella was along for the ride snoozing in her sling.
