Lakecrest Resort

A week of fun at Lakecrest Resort in Detroit Lakes

On the way up ... visiting Other Grandma

Oh Grandma I so tired...

Daddy fished off the dock every night.  No game fish to speak of but sunfish by the zillions.

Ella wasn't feeling well the first couple days, so we took turns helping her sleep.

Mommy and Grandpa do a loop on the water bikes!

Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge.  Can't see the forest for the trees.

The girls were napping; Daddy was just thinking hard.

Hard to tell from this photo, but Ella is riding an inflatable Sinclair dinosaur.

...as opposed to a non-inflatable Sinclair dinosaur.

Just cut the thistles out of the back seat and this Buick is good to go!

Pizza at Zorbaz on the Lake

It's a little tricky trying to mini-golf when a Beaner is guarding the hole.

Daddy gives the girls important instructions on the proper handling of fishing tackle.

Matti took Daddy and Just Grandpa out for some sunnies!

Sigh ... sometimes that kid is just odd...

Grandma?  Are you sleeping?

Grandma?  Are you sleeping Grandma?  Grandma?  Sleeping Grandma?

Oh no way, you are NOT putting me in THERE.

For the record, this is not Matti's first fish - it's like her fourth.  But so what, close enough.

Go feed the neigh-neighs!

Oh no ... Daddy sees requests for a pony in his future.

Almost forgot to include the best neigh-neigh riding shot!

On the way back home ... modeling Daddy's Aruba hat!

And one last visit to the family's Patch of Dirt before heading south again.

Twins Game

A pleasant summer afternoon at Target Field.  The Twins lost to Cleveland (no surprise there) but we all had a lot of fun!

Water Slide!

Also known as, "Mommy and Daddy just got iPhones and let's try out the camera function!"

Independence Day 2012

Nothing evokes our nation's independence more than making faces in your stars & stripes gear, before watching Santa Buddies.

Moose Country, in Lilydale.  Thatsa moose.

The expression on the Beaner's face is worth the price of admission!
