Grandma's Birthday

Grandma B was able to celebrate her 59th birthday with her sisters, granddaughter, and daughter. The sisters are having a great time yukking it up in this picture.

Winter Fun

I got a new sled for Christmas, so we took it out for a spin around the yard. Even though it was so cold, it felt warmer because we actually had sunlight. Mommy and Daddy also showed me how to make snow angels, but I wasn't so sure aboutgetting down in the snow myself.

A couple of weeks when the temperatures were bitterly cold, Mommy decided to bring me to the Conservatory where the temperature were toasty warm and we could pretend we were somewhere balmy and warm for a little while.

Mom and Dad - Together Again

The week between Christmas and New Year's was full of surprises for our family, but not pleasant surprises. Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer right before Christmas and had her lumpectomy the Tuesday after Christmas. On Monday morning Dad was brought to the hospital because he was passing so much blood. Dad wasn't allowed to go down to surgery area on Tuesday, so after mom's surgery was done, we had the nurse wheel her up to the waiting room on dad's floor. We decided that they love each other so much they even needed to be in the hospital at the same time.
