!Nos Tiempos Divertimos en Mexico!

We had a very nice time in Puerto Vallarta. The trip went quite smoothly and Matti was a great flyer. She got her first wings from the pilot. We had many comments about what a great baby she was on the airplane. The children at the hotel were quite fascinated with her and she had quite an entourage trying to play with her much of the time. Steve and Dana were able to go out for a catamaran ride one afternoon, so Steve got to add another body of water to his sailing repetoire. Grandma was gracious enough to watch the little one while we were out - we didn't just leave her by the pool in her stroller. It was all quite relaxing and it felt good to soak up the sun after a long Minnesota winter. It was a different story when we returned to the U.S. and were met with swine flu, oh no, excuse me, I mean H1N1 hysteria (don't want the pig farmers to feel that their product is being unfairly portrayed).
Three generations of lovely ladies!

Pies de el bebe' en la arena!

Some little baby footprints

Grandma and Matti chillin' by the pool - playing the booping game.

Peanut enjoyed the pool in her Winnie the Pooh float toy - she said the steering wheel was particularly tasty, but it doesn't steer worth a darn!

At first she wasn't sure about the Pacific, but after a couple tries Aubrey really liked it.

"Mommy is very funny!"

"I am channeling daddy right now. He has a very soft face. I think he uses
my diaper cream on it."

"Who needs to go to Mexico and spend time on the beach when
toes are so much more fascinating"

Aubrey sports her new shades - she was big pimpin' on the plane.
